The film is based on songs that recount stages of my life.
I tell of my beginnings as a sick child during wartime: “Nuit de Noël sous les Bombes.”
Then, amid the external chaos of the ruins, the internal chaos of asthma and allergies... until the destruction of the “Maison de la Musique,” my parents' house with “instruments on every floor.” Music, music, the only constant place with a recognizable habitable structure and form, vital to this day since my earliest experiences of illness and external dangerous uncertainties and profound and confusing fears that drive you crazy and leave their mark (including neurotic ones).
